Langsat (Lansium parasiticum)
Other names include langsat, longkong, Duku , lanzones, lanson, Duku langsat and Duku Johore.
Langsat belongs to the langsat group of fruit, Lansium domesticum. It originates from the Thailand Peninsular to Borneo.
Mature and ripe Langsat have a unique aroma and pleasant taste. Duku fruit is easily peeled from the stem end and the flesh is sweet, juicy and commonly eaten out-of-hand or served as a dessert.
